The ground floor houses a forge, stamping machine and workbenches. The first floor has workbenches for assembly of padlocks. Willenhall was the major centre for lock production in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Hodson family business started in 1793 and moved to these premises in New Road in 1903. The buildings date from 1840 and were originally used by a bolt manufacturer.
