The sign on the corner reads G W Gilling, Cash Grocery & Provision Stores ... I would imagine this dates from the 1950s or 1960s. Certainly would have been around when the first lot of Sheffield Trams were running past the door ... nowadays it's the Sheffield Supertram running past, hence the overhead lines.
