The seminal “Guide to Suffolk Churches” (Mortlock, D.P: Cambridge, The Lutterworth Press, 2009 revision ISBN 978 0 7188 3076 2) informs us that “there could be few more pleasant places on a summer’s day”. To which I would add, especially if you can get there early when the day still has that magical “only myself and a few like minded souls are up and about” quality.
