This unexpected rambling relic, found in an otherwise neat residential area of Cockburnspath, looks to me like an old Highland shooting lodge that has been lifted up and dumped hundreds of miles from home. Any moment now the head stalker or the ghillie will step out of that middle door clad in tweed suit and deerstalker.
