The Globe on the corner of Lumn Road and Walker Lane has been closed and boarded up for some time. See how it looked in 2006 http://hydedailyphoto.blogspot.com/2006/11/globe-inn.html The Gardeners Arms Image in the foreground was also closed recently but has since reopened.
