Queen Street now Douglas Street

Originally this was Queen Street that ran through the middle of the James North factory site from Market Street to Lumn Road. After the firm closed down, a school and estate of new houses were built on the site. Greenfield School blocked off a length of Queen Street and the rest of it from its junction with Douglas Street to Lumn Road was renamed Douglas Street. To prevent it being used as a rat-run bollards block it off from Lumn Road.
