Part of the empire of Fox Bros that also included Tonedale Mills, Coldharbour Mills and Bliss Tweed Mill. This particular mill is an undistinguished collection of single storey sheds and there is no good public viewpoint. The chimney was part of a powerhouse complex that once housed a pair of Belliss & Morcom steam engines.
