"Signal box. c1890. Built for the Great Central Railway. Red brick, timber and Welsh slate roofs. Ground floor has six 3-light windows to the platform front, all with ashlar lintels. Timber upper floor has 9 windows and 3 windows to the ends, though that- to the north also has a door.
