At this time of the year the wheat harvest is well under way and many fields in the area > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2010960 are harvested and waiting for the plough. The wheat crop standing in the large field adjoining Ketteringham Road in the south is ready but as can be seen from the thundery clouds above it is a wet day and the farmer will have to wait for more settled weather.
