Approaching the top of the hill. Gyllyngdune Gardens were originally created and opened in 1907. A £900,000 Lottery grant was awarded in 2009 to renovate the gardens (http://www.bbc.co.uk/cornwall/content/articles/2009/04/15/gardens_places_feature.shtml ).
