The Welsh Mountaineer excursion to Blaenau Ffestiniog is about to disappear into the cloud of smoke produced by its locomotive 48151 Gauge O Guild LMS Stanier Class 8F. Immediately in front of the camera is the site of the Mold Junction station, long since demolished.
