One of Transport for London's latest wheezes, letting the public borrow bikes for a small fee, membership and a deposit, provided by a major High St. bank which I'm sure are dying for me to mention their name, (I shall not, hint: they're coloured blue) and the Mayor of London. At the time of writing, the scheme has only been 'live' for 12 days and had more than its fair of problems and critics, but time will tell if it's going to a roaring success or not. It looks like the locals have to give up a bay of parking spaces so TfL can find somewhere to install their docking stations. Corner of Phillimore Gardens and Kensington High Street, W8.
