In an old quarry, surrounded by an area known as The Wilderness, this part of Wentworth Castle grounds has been re-created in the manner beloved by Victorians.During the restoration in 2004, were found bizarrely shaped pieces of slag, probably from Sheffield steel forges, and some weathered stumps of yew.
