Introduction

The photograph on this page of Scenery from a 'scenic layby' by Christine Johnstone as part of the Geograph project.

Having stopped at about 20 lay-bys coming down the A68 from the Scottish border, this was the first one officially described as scenic. Most of the rest were too!
