Woodley Road is out of shot to the left and the Woolston branch of Nat West Bank is behind the camera. The date of construction of this old cinema is shown in a pair of cartouches at the top of the façade ("19" on the left and "12" on the right - ie 1912, putting it among the oldest purpose built cinemas in the country).
