Erected by the Retired Professional Engineers Club on the IMAX Theatre-@Bristol building near Millennium Square. It is one of several blue plaques on the "Engineers Walk" inaugurated in 2006 to coincide with the bicentenary of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The walk runs from the Centre of Bristol at the head of St Augustine’s Reach for about 400m up to Explore@Bristol, to honour engineers and scientists with local connections.
