Pre-Electrification photograph of the section of the main London to York line sandwiched between the River Don and the bridge carrying the Rotherham to Scunthorpe line. The mainline to York is the tracks in the foreground. The locomotive, a class 47, is joining from the Wakefield/leeds branch with the 1A26, which I believe was the 13:35 Leeds to Kings Cross service.
