Magnificent footbridge over A31 at St Leonards

The footbridge serves St Leonards Community Hospital, which is on the near side of the incredibly busy A31 dual carriageway. There are bus stops both sides. The bridge is very solidly constructed of concrete, steel girders (painted red) and welded stainless steel railings (never requiring painting). It has ramps for the disabled as well as steps on both sides. (elevated camera position)
