The A24 passing through the centre of Morden. The Underground station and Merton Civic Centre are visible beyond the van. On the right is a curving parade of shops providing a range of services including banking and pawn broking - the latter seems to be a growing business with new stores springing up. I guess that this is a sign of our current economic uncertainties, but I notice that the traditional three balls have been replaced by the bright yellow colours that seem to be the current style for businesses offering quick cash to their customers.
