By no means the first image for this square, but the first one to show the River Mersey. View looking north from the North Cheshire Way (Helsby footpath 24) east of the summit of Helsby Hill. M56 in the foreground, then Helsby and Frodsham Marshes, with the Lordship Marsh canal deposit dump, before the Mersey in the distance. Note the peregrine falcon - nesting nearby.
