Ashton Frost Wheel

The cog wheel is a part of the Ashton Frost engine. The wheel was located in Primrose Mill, Church. Follow the link to see the engine in situ – Image It was built in 1884 and was capable of driving 400 Lancashire Looms. The wheel has been salvaged and put on display due to the efforts of Accrington Civic Trust. It is located at the junction of Scaitcliffe St and Eagle St, Accrington.
