It seems astonishing that what once must have been a fine villa, with a Doric porch, has been allowed to go to rack and ruin. Behind are the remains of the Ivy Needle Works, who also owned this house. These remains are also in a derelict state. Above the front door of the house, is a sign warning to keep out because of danger. The site the house and works are on, is bounded to the east by the railway line to Redditch Railway Station. Image
