Looking east from the cycleway on the edge of Shipley Country Park. Many of the gold letters at the back of the pub are missing, but at one time would have announced "open all day everyday" - clearly not the case any more as the pub is closed. The brewery is seeking buyers, but as of July 2010, the only proposal is for conversion into a secure residential institution, which has created a bit of a stir with locals.
