This section of Teignmouth Road, which further north becomes the main road up the coast, is a residential side road. The house on the right is one of two on this stretch to have these distinctive green roof tiles, as well as the New Zealand Cabbage tree (Cordyline australis - Ti kouka), known locally as the Torbay Palm.
