Bramley & Wonersh station was on the Guildford - Horsham line, which closed in 1965. The certificate is for Waverley Design Awards 2005 - Highly Commended in the Environmental Enhancement category. The plaque at the bottom dates from 2008 and states - "On 16th December 1942 eight people lost their lives and 36 more were injured when a train from Guildford was bombed and machine-gunned as it approached Bramley station."Bramley & Wonersh station was on the Guildford - Horsham line, which closed in 1965.
