A grade II* listed building dating back to the early C16, restored 1883, and subsequently. L-shaped, comprising 2 storeys in ashlar, plus dormers. Stone mullioned windows with cornice above first floor, and also to capped gables. Bagdale Old Hall was the seat of several noted local families and the home of Browne Bushell, son-in-law of Sir Thomas Fairfax. He was hanged as a traitor in 1651. LBS Number: 326518
