In the early 1990's an artist created a series of sculptural pieces out of wood, stone and other natural materials along the path here in Cwm Dyffryn. All have gradually disappeared or sunk into the surroundings in an organic process of natural decay - it takes a sharp eye to spot any remaining traces. Here a slate slab indicates the former site of a sort of igloo made from perishable material. Its base was visible long after the structure had gone.
