A set of drying 'cans' for drying cloth. They are driven by the diagonal duplex (inverted vee) steam engine on the left. This was built by John Dalglish & Sons of Pollokshaws, Glasgow and is of 15 horsepower. The drying cylinders ('cans') would have been heated by exhaust steam. The little black cube on the right with a grey pip entering it is a steam trap. This is a device for separating steam and condensate without wasting live steam to atmosphere (still an essential piece of kit in any steam plant).
