This is a combined heat and power plant that gasifies sawmill wood chips to provide a combustible gas that is burnt along with 10% diesel in an internal combustion engine to produce electricity. Waste heat recovery provides hot water for heating. This 200 kW plant provides enough green electricity for 400 homes. It wasn't working
