The hall is on the corner of Greengate Street and Tipping Street. Units on the ground floor have been let out as shops. The hall only has a narrow frontage to Greengate Street, but a very much longer frontage to Tipping Street. The hall underwent a complete refurbishment in 2005, including a new kitchen and toilet facilities, a new bar area, disabled access with a lift, and complete redecoration. The Mid-Staffordshire branch of the Oddfellows is based here, and the hall is at times available for letting.
