Tequila Red was a very short-lived Mexican restaurant and bar, which operated here for a few months before closing in 2009. Originally the building was a pub known as The Sun Inn, but it went through at least one other change before becoming Tequila Red. When photographed at the beginning of May 2010, the building was not in use, but the freehold had been purchased by the Titanic Brewery from Enterprise Inns. The pub was due to re-open under its old name of The Sun Inn on the 22nd July 2010. This wasn't the only bit of good news, as after this photograph was taken, the hideous vivid red external paintwork was replaced by a neutral cream.
