I actually pass this stone almost every day but have only ever taken one picture, being rather useless. Image I stopped again and took some better shots. It is not known if it is ancient or not, another glacial erratic like the example at Merton Image The oblong piece of sandstone was placed nearby by ice, during the last ice age.
