When the nave of All Saints church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1398957 collapsed in the 18th century it was never rebuilt, and although the chancel was restored a century later the church was abandoned in the 20th century and fell into ruin. A local couple started restoring what was left of the building - the chancel > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1853458 - in the 1970s, with the tower > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1398960 - made safe - standing detached from the structure.
