Car Wash at Barnby

The car site was a Public House in the 1950 called 'The Blind Man's Gate'. It stood empty for many years before it became a Garage and Petrol Station. When petrol started to be sold at Supermarkets it ceased selling fuel and became a Service Station for a few years before that too closed. Two people have tried using it for Car Sales but those too failed to make a financial success, until this car wash was established a few years ago. Note: I have been informed that 'A Blind Man's Gate' was hung above a path so a blind man wouldn't have to negotiate it.
