Taken in 1969, the platform and railway lines can be clearly seen with Luton (Midland Road) Station in the background. Luton (Bute Street) Station closed in April, 1965 when passenger services on the railway line between Dunstable and Hatfield ceased. The site has since been converted to a car park.
