The view from the footpath level crossing as the railway heads towards Felixstowe North Quay Terminal. The colour light signal gives a good indication to crossing users as to whether a train is approaching heading south but, with the line being bidirectional, gives no indication for northbound trains. Signalling is controlled from Colchester Power Signal Box.
