In the centre of the image is Upland Hall, as seen from the top of the tower of St Mary's Church. The building that can be seen to the lower left of Upland Hall is the Three Willows Garden and Plant Centre, which is on the B1062 Flixton road. To the right of the garden centre, but hidden by the trees, is the Quiet Waters Christian Retreat Centre.
