Old Barnes Cemetery is one of the eeriest (and most neglected) cemeteries in London. It has no boundary and is found on Barnes Common. At one time it had railings but the Council removed these, intending to turn it into a lawn cemetery. They then changed their mind and left it so that when walking across Barnes Common one suddenly stumbles across gravestones within a small woodland. The memorial to William Hedgeman is by far the largest in the cemetery. There is no memorial to Spring Heeled Jack though who frequented these parts - see http://www.haunted-london.com/london-graveyards.html
