The original Kington railway station, provided when the lines from Leominster and Eardisley terminated here. A solid Victorian pile, resplendent in BR(W) chocolate and cream paintwork. Nothing substantial remains of the 'new' station, built to serve the through route to New Radnor, although the splendid goods shed looks good for another century.
