Ripe for development, and currently being subjected to a predevelopment archaeological survey in anticipation of progress. The distant buildings are the tower blocks at Craigour, and on the right, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary at Little France. In the distance the nearest of the Pentland Hills is about 8km to the southwest.
