The elevation facing Peachfield Road. Quote from YHA press release 14/5/2005: 'YHA is working in partnership with Malvern District Council to find an alternative site to the present Youth Hostel. The current location of YHA Malvern is not ideal for visitors, situated in a residential area some distance from the centre of the town.The building requires investment of £450,000 to make major layout changes so that the facilities can be improved. A major investment is not sensible in the present location. The YHA’s Board of Trustees have agreed to put the building up for sale.'
