...Shall Work With Joy And Bless The Land. The motto on the facade of the Keswick School of Industrial Arts (architect Paley Austin and Paley, 1894, listed Grade 2). The KSIA was founded by Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley and his wife Edith, and produced arts and crafts metalwork until its closure on 1984. The building is now Luca's Italian restaurant.
