Pinners Quarry, an oddly named house, has an attractive garden. Built of brick under a slate roof. Blockley is a large village in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire, some 3 miles northwest of Moreton-in-Marsh. The village has its roots in the wool industry but it became a prosperous centre of the silk industry in the 18th and 19th centuries. The silk mills used the waters of the Brockley Brook, a tributary of Knee Brook which flows into the River Stour.
