In Newbold, where yesterday, 27th June 2010,as throughout the realm, was displayed on television, the debacle of the England football team being trounced by a Germany side, the score being 4-1. On a walk through Chesterfield today there are still some flags and banners to be seen, one in a garden at half-mast, in support of the national team.
