The track is the one that is shown on the far side of the gate in Image The present photograph was taken from only a few metres further along the path. From that point, the track runs parallel to the motorway, and can be followed either to the south-west, or to the north-east (for the latter, see Image). Following it to the south-west, as pictured here, eventually leads past Home Farm Holiday Cottages to join Drove Loan (for a view of the cottages and Drove Loan, see Image).
