The plaque on the left reads: LEIRE NATURE WALK This nature reserve generously donated to the village of Leire by Mr and Mrs J.A Redfern. Was officially opened 1st May 1988 The plaque on the right reads: This project was assisted by a Leicestershire County Council Shire Grant.
