A building, currently sporting an agents’ “To Let” board, for which there is an application for planning permission for “Demolition of existing building and erection of five storey mixed use development comprising retail on ground and first floor with offices above (amended scheme).”. The present building occupies what was once the site of Keegans’ bonded warehouse. The spelling is now “Callender” but used to be “Calender”.
