War Memorial in the grounds of Sacred Trinity Church. The cross-shaped monument is in memory of Salford people who gave their lives in World War One. There is one notable non-Salfordian on the list: Edith Cavell, the nurse turned informer who helped the British gain valuable information from the Germans during the war. http://www.visitsalford.info/documents/chapelstreettrail.pdf Chapel Street Heritage Trail
