Road to Loddon, Stubbs Green

The roofs discernible in the centre belong to the houses on one of the housing estates off High Bungay Road in Loddon, while out of sight and in front of these runs the A146 Norwich-Lowestoft road. Before Loddon was by-passed in the 1970s the road between Stubbs Green and Loddon used to run straight through to the High Bungay Road from just beyond the cottage that can be seen right of centre. Since the bypass the Stubbs Green road now joins the Bungay road this side of the bypass. The cat crouched in the road is evidence that the Stubbs Green road is not very busy, particularly on a Sunday when there is little farm traffic.
