The demolition and rebuilding of the Ferrier Estate, which should have been complete by 2010, was being delayed due to the recession. A few blocks had already been demolished: the site of one (a low-rise block on Elford Close) was behind the green hoardings seen here, viewed from the vantage point of the railway footbridge. Three of the tower blocks that remained are seen in this view: from left to right, Stainer House (with Wixom House hidden behind it); Ronald House; Felton House.
